Halo Zero is a fan-created side-scrolling tribute to Halo. A lot of work has gone into this, making it as close to the game as possible. Things like shields, campaign/multiplayer, and weapon sounds appear to be almost directly from the original game.

Don't get your hopes up. It's still a pretty rudimentary implementation. Newer (like Mac OS X or later) stuff isn't supported. WebKit views are almost certainly unsupported, and I'm assuming Tominated uses a WebKit view. Really this has a ways to go before it's useful to a lot of people, but it's still interesting (and encouraging). Download cocotron-highsierra for free. Cocotron with xcode 7.3 on osx high sierra. Cocotron was hard to build with hundreds of compile errors and crashes. This project is to share a working copy. Cocotron for mac.
